Our Story
Brandy’s Braiding Blueprint Foundation was founded on the belief that beauty can be a powerful tool for transformation. What began as a passion for braiding has grown into a mission to empower youth, strengthen families, and create opportunities through education, mentorship, and community service.

Blueprint Academy is our educational initiative designed to teach beauty skills, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and professional development. Whether you’re learning to braid for the first time or preparing to launch your own business, our workshops and training programs provide the knowledge, confidence, and support to help you succeed.

Bringing Beauty, Hope, and Opportunity to Every Community
The Beauty Bus Initiative is our vision to transform a luxury mobile salon into a traveling center for education, mentorship, and community outreach. Our goal is to eliminate transportation barriers by bringing free beauty services, workshops, youth programming, and career development directly to neighborhoods, schools, shelters, and community organizations.
With the support of donors, sponsors, and community partners, the Beauty Bus will become a place where confidence is restored, skills are developed, and futures are built—one stop at a time.

Brandy Mitchell
Brandy The Beautician
Brandy Mitchell is an entrepreneur, educator, and community advocate with a passion for transforming lives through beauty, mentorship, and opportunity. As the founder of Brandy’s Braiding Blueprint Foundation, she believes that braiding is more than a hairstyle—it’s a pathway to confidence, connection, creativity, and economic empowerment.
With years of experience in the beauty industry, Brandy has built successful businesses while mentoring aspiring beauty professionals and creating opportunities for others to grow. Through her work, she has seen firsthand how learning a skill can change the course of someone’s life by building confidence, creating financial independence, and opening doors to entrepreneurship.
Inspired by her own journey and a desire to give back, Brandy established the foundation to ensure that youth and families have access to quality education, mentorship, workforce development, and community resources. Her vision extends beyond the salon chair, focusing on building stronger communities through service, leadership, and opportunity.
One of Brandy’s long-term goals is to launch the Beauty Bus Initiative, a mobile beauty and education center that will bring free beauty services, career training, mentorship, and community outreach directly to neighborhoods, schools, shelters, and families in need.
Today, Brandy continues to lead with purpose, empowering the next generation to discover their potential, pursue their dreams, and build brighter futures.
